B-Dawg is showing signs of being very loyal, mature, and big-brother type of material! Of all my puppies in this litter, I think this boy will be the most observant, quick-thinking, and bright. Right now B-Dawg is our biggest and reddest boy with the shortest coat, and the blockiest/squarest build which always makes Willow's puppies look very golden-retriever! I know for a fact that out of all of Willow's puppies he will be the most stunning. Not to say her other puppies won't be, but they'll be more adorable, puppy-looking while he will look truly majestic and beautiful! At three weeks old, his eyes will stay blue for a little while before they darken up to brown, but I think it looks so handsome with his coat color!
B-Dawg weighed 14 oz at birth, ending up (right now, his weight will fluctuate as he continues to grow throughout the next few weeks, so we can't be sure) as the biggest pup of the litter! He is our darkest red boy, with a single white star and a little scattered white on his chest (these will both likely fade as he gets older). He has a petite build and a longer muzzle.
Budderball is already showing signs of being super happy, intelligent, and calm! Of all my puppies he cries the least, is the most comfortable in different situations, and pretty much accepts his fate whenever we try something new with him! He is super cuddly and chill with everyone and anything, so it will be interesting to see how well he does with training! Budderball is our medium-sized boy who's also a medium-red in color. He has bright blue eyes (right now, they will darken to brown as he gets older) and a broad stripe down his muzzle. He's got a very nice rounded head and a wide muzzle that will look very retriever as he gets older. He's the family favorite around here!
Budderball weighed 13.2 oz at birth, ending up as our second smallest boy (for right now). He is medium to light red with a beautiful white stripe (and potentially a white muzzle, we will see as he continues to get more fur around his face) that will surely stay as he gets older (a lot like his daddy, Sullivan). He has a wide head and a shorter nose that his siblings.
Buddha is already showing many signs of being a loving, loyal little companion! He loves his siblings and his mom the most, is always up for cuddles, and feels the safest when he's in a calm and peaceful environment. He's probably going to be a classic "momma's boy", if these traits stay consistent! Buddha is our second largest boy in this litter, is a medium-red, and has a little tattered stripe that will fade as he gets older. He's probably our second most golden-retriever looking boy, with a square/athletic build and wide head. He also has the shorter "retriever" ears, not as long as the cocker spaniel ears, which will mature beautifully as he gets older. We adore this handsome little guy!
Buddha weighed 13.6 lbs at birth, ending up as our second largest boy (for now). He is a medium red boy with a large star on his head a little block of white on his chest. I can tell for sure if these white spots of his will stay or not, though I'm leaning towards his chest staying white and his face turning all red as he gets older. He has a wide, blocky head and a longer muzzle.
Rosebud is the spunkiest, sassiest little girl I've ever had! The moment she realized she had a voice, she let the whole world know and has hardly stopped giving me sassy little barks whenever I come in the room. She is the most energetic, social, and playful out of all her siblings, and is the last to go to sleep out of everyone else. She is also the queen of the castle, which everyone knows, and demands to sleep in only the very warmest spaces and the very closest to her mom. Her brothers, being the amazing gentlemen they are, don't complain too often. Rosebud is our darkest red girl with the least amount of white... She won't have any signs that she once had a white spot once she grows up. Her fur is on the medium-length side, and her bright blue eyes look so pretty in contrast! Little Rosebud, as the only girl, is the smallest in this litter, and the perfect blend of cocker spaniel and golden retriever with her longer ears, square head, and longer but broad muzzle. We love this girl!
Rosebud is the smallest in the litter, weighing in at 10.7 oz at birth. She's extremely dark red with only a tiny white star and tiny white patch on her chest... Already she is the same shade as her momma, Willow, so we think she will darken up quite a bit as she gets older! She has a well-shaped head and a longer muzzle, as well as an adorably pouty lip. We've only ever had one mahogany red girl, and she resulted in Willow's darling daughter Aspen, who is one of our current mommas! I've happy to say I think we'll have another "mahogany red" in Rosebud. If you're interested in having a tiny dark red mini golden, go look at our "Guardian Homes" page to see what if being her guardian home owner would be a good fit for you!
Mudbud is turning out to be very mature, thoughtful, and observant. He's not one to start things, but more of a follower to join in on whatever is going on. He's Rosebud's favorite playmate, Budderball's favorite snuggle buddy, and Buddha's favorite howling partner. I think he's his mom's favorite, too, because she always wants him just a little bit closer than the rest. He's got a very petite and small frame, which may lead him to growing up as the same size as Rosebud despite her being a female (which are typically smaller than males). This boy is our lightest-colored boy, with dark golden fur and a scattered white stripe on his face, as well as a white chest. He has the longer crimped ears that I love, longer fur, and a longer muzzle. He's seriously so cute!
Mudbud is the smallest boy in this litter, weighing 11.5 oz at birth. He's also our lightest boy, resulting in a deep golden color that is just beautiful! He will likely darken up, as all puppies do as they mature into adulthood, but I love this coloring as it is! He's very petite and has a long slender nose. He's adorable!
